Are you a service member or veteran? We are glad to have you here!
BCSP safety certifications are recognized and highly regarded by the U.S. military. Our certifications have been mapped to 764 occupations across the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines Corps, and Department of Defense civil service. BCSP, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Department of Defense (DoD) offer substantial benefits service members can utilize to achieve certification.
Below are some of the benefits BCSP provides for you and your fellow service members:
DoD COOL Benefits
The Department of Defense's Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) program also offers support for achieving professional certifications. Each military service's COOL program includes BCSP's ANSI-accredited certifications. In fact, the ASP, CSP, and CHST are so popular among service members that they are listed by COOL as "In Demand."
The links to the service COOL programs can be found under the Resources section on this page.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides education benefits to eligible service members, veterans, and certain dependents and survivors. Applicants may receive financial support for undergraduate and graduate degrees, vocational and technical training, licensing and certification tests, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and more. Some of these programs may pay for BCSP certification exam fees and other training applicable to your career in safety and health.
