Keeping Teen Workers Safe is Everyone's Job!

Keeping Teen Workers Safe is Everyone's Job!

#KeepTeenWorkersSafeJoin us and many other safety organizations this month in promoting the #KeepTeenWorkersSafe campaign!

Every minute, a young worker between the ages of 15-25 is injured on the job. Every day a young worker loses their life in a workplace incident. We all have a duty to protect the most at-risk section of the workforce, the youth!

The #KeepTeenWorkersSafe campaign is designed to do just that. Take part in the event and help us spread youth safety awareness! Find shareable information at keepteenworkerssafe.org and be sure to use the #KeepTeenWorkersSafe in your social media posts. Most importantly, educate your staff! Education and awareness are the biggest tools in the prevention of incidents in the workplace.

Additionally, the BCSP Foundation is hard at work in preventing injuries to our youth in the workplace year round! At BCSPFoundation.org/initiatives/youth-safety-institute, you will find a ton of helpful information and statistics regarding youth safety. Included is a Youth Safety Outreach guide, outreach postcards, videos, youth safety tips, and more! Visit today and join our fight in preventing injuries to our youth!
