Safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) practice is always progressing. Fresh ideas are helping to keep people safer, and new technologies are pushing the envelope of possibility.
Developments come from all over the globe and emerge from a vast range of industries. While the digital age has brought a wealth of information immediately to our fingertips, there is still much to gain from a true meeting of the minds to share and learn.
It is important that safety professionals make connections with others from various specialties in the field. Colleagues in other places share the same challenges, concerns, and goals. A discovery from one can help countless others.
So where can a safety professional go to learn about the latest developments or to share their own breakthroughs? The BCSP Foundation’s Research & Innovation Summit, to be held for the third time later this summer, provides a forum for professionals operating at the cutting edge.
Registration is open for the 2023 R&I Summit scheduled for Aug. 7-10 at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis. Network, share ideas, and learn about the latest developments from fellow practitioners with a passion for advancing the profession.
This year’s R&I Summit features keynote speakers from Boeing, Grainger, Jacobs, Dale Carnegie, CBRE, and the National Safety Council, covering topics including environmental, social, and governance; diversity, equity, and inclusion; mental health in safety, psychological safety, and supply chain worker safety.
In total, there are more than 30 general sessions, panels, roundtables, and breakout sessions. For a complete schedule of events, check out the R&I Summit Agenda.
If you haven’t previously attended the R&I Summit, check out highlights from the most recent edition in 2021, and make plans to join us this August.
