Falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees. According to OSHA, in 2017 366 of the 971 recorded construction fatalities were caused by falls from elevated positions. Deaths due to falls are preventable, and with OSHA's National Safety Stand-Down, BCSP and other partners are attempting to prevent falls in construction.
